Request Account Deletion

Menu Matrix provides a controlled account-deletion process designed to remove personal account access while protecting restaurant records that must remain intact for legitimate operational, audit or legal purposes.

How to submit a request

Sign in to Menu Matrix, open Account, scroll to Privacy & account, choose Request Account Deletion, and confirm the request by typing DELETE. This option remains available even when an organisation subscription is read-only.

What happens next

The request is recorded against the authenticated account and enters a controlled review process. A Menu Matrix administrator checks whether the account owns an organisation or has other access relationships that must be resolved safely. If the user owns an organisation, ownership must be transferred before deletion can be completed.

For an eligible completed request, active store and organisation memberships are removed, personal profile information is anonymised or removed as appropriate, and the account's authentication identity is deleted. The user can no longer sign in with that deleted account.

Operational records that may remain

Restaurant operational records such as approved recipes, controlled Recipe Cards, menus, purchasing, stock, production, training acknowledgements and audit history may need to remain with the relevant organisation where retention is necessary for legitimate business, security, audit, contractual or legal obligations. Personal identification is minimised where those retained records do not require it.

Cancel a pending request

If the request is still pending, return to Account → Privacy & account and select Cancel Request. Once destructive processing has been completed, the deleted authentication account cannot be restored through this cancellation option.
